With the weather getting a bit cooler, here is a hearty, filling casserole that will fit perfectly into your menu on a fall day. This is a no-brainer recipe. Just toss it all into the ole' slow cooker and go about your day. You get your meat, veggies and potatoes all in one dish. So simple and tasty.
3 large potatoes, peeled and diced
2 packages smoke sausage, browned and sliced into small pieces
10oz bag of frozen vegetables
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 can cream of celery soup
Directions:
Spray crock pot with non stick cooking spray. Mix all ingredients in a bowl, then, pour into crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.

ReplyDeleteMaking this for Christmas Dinner hopefully it comes out ok.
ReplyDeleteIt was a hit for dinner last night however the potatoes didn't cook through and my husband was not thrilled with them either. Next time I am going to cook up some elbow noodles and mix them in when the crock meal time is done. Kids think that would be a better idea plus it makes it more kid friendly.
ReplyDeleteNoodles are a great idea Hatcher4life..please let me know if you try them. My kids would probably prefer the noodles too :)
