Marshmallow Fluff Chocolate Cake

On Monday, I posted a super duper easy recipe for marshmallow fluff.  I did tell you some recipes to include this little bowl of heaven would be coming.  Remember? I hope so.  So, here we go with recipe #1...Cake! Yes, chocolate cake with marshmallow fluff.  This is just...well..there may be no words to describe how good this is. I have never seen my family inhale a cake so quickly.  And, they are some serious cake eaters.  This delight is very chocolaty, very decadent and a perfect cake for the holiday season.  You will be the hit of the party with this one.

Adapted From

What you need:
for cake:
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
7-8 oz marshmallow fluff ( jarred is ok, but, Homemade is better!)

for frosting:
1/3 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cup powder sugar

To Prepare:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray or grease 9 x 13 baking dish with non stick cooking spray.  In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar and eggs.  Add in vanilla, flour and cocoa.  Beat well.  Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
Let cake cool.  Spread marshmallow fluff on top of cake.
Prepare frosting by mixing all ingredients well in a mixing bowl.  Spread on top of marshmallow fluff.
