Today is a big day! It's reveal day! Just a few short weeks ago, my blog was invited to join the Secret Recipe Club!
What is the Secret Recipe Club you ask? It's a great site for food bloggers to meet, swap recipes and get exposure for their own blog. Once you are accepted (there can be a bit of a waiting list), each month you are assigned a blog and a reveal date. You head over to your assigned blog, pick out a dish of your choice and share it. So simple, yet..a fabulous idea.
My assigned blog this month is Melissa's, Fried Ice and Donut Holes.
I love the meaning behind of her blog title. As a child, her grandpa would tell her to behave or fried ice and donut holes would be serve..hence, nothing for dinner. A classic grandpa tale..sounds a bit like my dad when we were young :)
Melissa's site was tough to decide what to make. She has been blogging since 2009 and her site is filled with Asian dishes, classic dishes, Vegetarian dishes and some tempting desserts. Well, you guys know me, desserts are my thing,especially chocolate and peanut butter.
So, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Blondies were my choice. These are amazing. I guarantee you will not be able to eat just one.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Blondies

Ingredients (Serves: 10-12)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk chocolate chunks
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray/grease 9 x 13 baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, cream brown sugar and butter until fluffy. Add in eggs, vanilla and peanut butter.
In a separate bowl, add flour, baking powder,salt and baking soda. Add your dry ingredients into wet ingredients slowly until combined.
Pour batter into prepared dish. Sprinkle with chocolate chunks.
Bake 25 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
