Happy Day-Before Valentine's Day! Do you and your forever (or just for this week) love of your life celebrate? We don' really. Mr Plain says why should a day dictate his feelings? Shouldn't he be showing me how much he loves and cares for me everyday? Mmph..so, no flowers here. Actually, instead of flowers, the perfect gift would be for him to start painting our kitchen that he's been saying he's going to do since October. Probably not going to get that either, but, a girl can hope. Oh, I'm not complaining..he's fabulous :)
Oh well...for a nice, Valentine-y treat, give these a try. Not too much of an overload on the sugar and they take next to nothing to toss together. Sweet strawberry with a bit of crunch. A perfect little Valentine's desert.
12 wonton wrappers
1 TBSP butter, melted
1 TBSP sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
2/3 cup strawberry yogurt
1-1/2 cups strawberries, chopped
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray/Grease a cookie sheet with non stick cooking spray. Place wonton wrappers in a single layer on cookie sheet. Brush with melted butter, then, sprinkle with sugar. Bake for about 5 minutes or until crisp. Let cool. Beat whipping cream until peaks form. Fold in yogurt and strawberries. Place yogurt mixture on each wonton. Top with another wonton.
Make 6 stacks.

So cute and creative! And I'll take a painted kitchen as a V Day gift, too! ;)
