This is by far, the most wonderful chocolate syrup ever.  Yes. Ever! I have been pouring it on everything possible just to eat it.  

It is also so simple and it's only 65 calories for 2 tablespoons.  Yes..for real.

Chocolate Fudge Syrup

by Table for Seven
Prep Time: 00:10
Cook Time: 00:30 + cooling time
Ingredients (approx 2 cups)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
Instructions
In a saucepan, add cocoa powder and water. Heat on medium heat until cocoa dissolves. Add sugar.
Continue cooking until it boils. Boil for 3 minutes, watching to make sure it doesn't over-flow.
Then, add vanilla and salt.
Cool completely before serving.
Keep leftovers in a covered container in refrigerator.

  7. Really enjoyed having your blog this month! I am always amazed at women that have such large families...how they manage their homes amazes me..I have only 2 and I feel like I'm always struggling :) My boys loved the chocolate granola..thank you so much for sharing!

  8. Yea!!! Happy to hear you enjoyed the syrup! I always thought Hershey's was the best until I tried this chocolate syrup. You can eat it with a spoon who needs ice cream? It makes awesome chocolate milk too!!
