Here is lovely, simple cheddar cheese sauce for your veggies. A must for someone like me, a bit of a veggie-hater. Although, don't limit yourself to veggies with this.
Pour it on some nacho chips, stir into your scrambled eggs, scoop it with a spoon and dig in.
Simple Cheddar Cheese Sauce
- 2 TBSP flour
- 2 TBSP butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- salt/pepper to taste preference
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Stir in flour. Cook for about a minute Whisk in milk slowly. Add salt/pepper. Cook until thicken. Turn off heat. Add in cheese and stir until melted.
Total time: 25 mins.
