This is such a great way to start the week, isn't it? A chocolate dessert that is low fat. It's just enough to make you love a Monday.
A really, really, long time ago, I posted a recipe for Diet Soda Cake. Maybe not that long ago..2 years. So, maybe, just a really long time ago. I had started Weight Watchers and was looking for low fat/low point desserts. Now, I am back on Weight Watchers. I overdid my treat intake this summer and counting points helps me get back on track.
Now, if you are unfamiliar with Diet Soda Cake, it's not too complicated. It's is just what it says. Diet soda and cake mix. Add 2 egg whites, mix it up and boom..cake that's low fat and tastes delicious. This is pretty much the same thing. Except instead of cake mix, we have brownie mix.
Take your brownie mix (low fat version works perfect!), add your soda, egg whites and there you go...low fat brownies that are fabulous. Chocolate, chewy and you also won't have to worry about sneaking an extra one now and then.

Diet Soda Brownies
Prep Time: 00:10
Cook Time: 00:30
Ingredients (24 brownies)
- 1- 13 x 9 pan size brownie mix.
- 2 egg whites
- 10 oz diet soda of your choice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13 x 9 baking dish.
Blend dry brownie mix, egg whites and diet soda well.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean
