Root Beer Spice Cake

October 30, 2013
Happy day before Halloween!  Are you ready for tomorrow?  Are your kids?  Mine are. Thank goodness. I was a complete slacker this year.  Halloween costumes were purchased just this past weekend.  It was slim pick-ins to say the least.  Everyone got a costume, but, some were not exactly what they wanted to be. This caused a minor crisis, but, all was good eventually.  Whew..now, it's just hoping that the weather cooperates. There's a  50% of rain here.  Lovely.  Fingers crossed this does not happen.
For now, we have cake.  Fabulous cake. This cake has a bit of twist to it.  As in twist, I mean..no chocolate. This is a big twist for me.  It's also a boxed cake mix, which is becoming a bit of a thing with me. There is so many options with them...endless possibilities!
This cake has a bit of root beer, some spice and just for fun, topped off with candy. Very quick and easy to toss together.  Oh and it's delicious..
