Auntie's Chocolate Chip Cookies with #Truvia

November 15, 2013

Let's talk cookies today. Chocolate chip cookies to be exact.
Chocolate chip cookies are the go-to of all sweets.

One of the many great things about chocolate chip cookies is they are versatile.  They can be dressed up with raisins, nuts and peanut butter.  You can also keep them simple with a cup of chocolate chips.  I personally love chocolate chip cookies because they are quick, easy to make and the ingredients are always in my pantry.  Well..that and they're delicious.

With all this chocolate chip love, I was so very excited to be given the opportunity to share some delicious cookies with you all that are lightened- up by using Truvia® Baking Blend with sugar.
Truvia® brand is natural sweetener that reduces the sugar and calories in your favorite recipes. With the holidays just around the corner, isn't that what we all want?  Sweets that are lower in calories and sugar, but, still taste delicious?  Count me as a yes on that.  A simple tip..cut back on calories by using Truvia® brand instead of sugar. Check out this handy conversion chart to make sure you are using the proper amount. It's a great way to still enjoy all the sweetness of the holidays and worry a little less about counting calories.

We loved these cookies. They were soft, chocolate and took no time at all to bake up.  Great for not just a holiday party, but, I will be whipping up a batch to send out for  my kids' teachers for gifts this year.  You can't go wrong with a good chocolate chip cookie!
