{Crock Pot} Cheesy Tomato Beef

Here is a nice, quick, dish for you today.  You literally throw all your ingredients in your crock pot,close the lid and 6 hours later, you have yourself dinner.  It's awesome. My mom made a similar dish to this when we were kids.  She called it goulash and it was one of my very favorite dishes as a kid.  Very weirdly though, even while doing all this food-blogging, I've never asked her for the recipe.

With this dish, there's no need to anymore, it's a perfect match.  It's a tomato-cheese base with a nice onion flavor.  We served ours up over egg noodles and it was delicious!

Crock Pot Cheesy Tomato Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cubed stew meat
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese or equivalent
  • 10 oz tomato soup
  • 1 TBSP dried minced onion

Instructions

  1. Add stew meat to pot.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients into crock pot, pouring over meat.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
Yield: Serves: 6
Prep Time: 00 hrs. 10 mins.
Cook time: 06 hrs. 00 mins.
Total time: 6 hrs. 10 mins.
