Hawaiian Pizza with Contadina

I have another incredible Contadina recipe for you today. This one is for pizza.  Yum..our favorite.  Let me ask you a question..how much pizza do you eat during the holiday season?  Let me give you my answer: Alot. We do..seriously. I'm not sure why.  Perhaps it because there are six million things to do during this time of year and making a huge dinner always seems to be something I'm less than enthusiastic about. So, more than often, pizza or pasta are my answer.


When you eat pizza quite a bit, you are always looking for something a bit different than you average cheese, sausage or pepperoni.  So, to give our pizza a little pizazz, there are  some green peppers, Canadian bacon and some pineapple to top it off. Tada! Hawaiian Pizza.  It's delicious guys.  I mean..really good.  You can use whatever crust you wish (ooh..how about homemade!?) and be sure to use Contadina's Pizza Squeeze.
It's great tasting and you can use as a ton or just a little, then, close the lid, put it in the fridge and save it for your next pizza.  I love that about this sauce..easy, peasy to store in between pizzas and of course, it taste great.
Give yourself a break from the craziness of the season and just make pizza tonight.




Hawaiian Pizza
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Baking Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 1 pizza

Ingredients:
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  
  2. Bake pizza crust alone in over for 5-8 minutes or longer if your crust is thicker.
  3. Remove from oven.
  4. Spread on pizza sauce.
  5. Top with remaining ingredients.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or longer if crust is thicker.
