Hi everyone! I'm Mallory fromTotal Noms and I'm so excited Erin has given me the opportunity to share one of my
favorite holiday dessert recipes with you on Table for Seven today.
One of the best aspects of the holiday season is the
spirit of sharing with your neighbor. It sounds
cheesy, but it's true!
These mint chocolate truffles are a riff off my Easy Peasy Chocolate Truffles, the recipe
for which I actually got from my parents' neighbor who still brings Christmas
cookies around the neighborhood
homes every year. I love this tradition and am happy to carry it on by sharing
this recipe with you all!
While they might look fancy, these couldn't be easier
to make. Combining Oreos, cream cheese and a hint of mint makes for a really
fun treat. Combined with the crunch of a hard chocolate shell, these actually look quite sophisticated too!
Prep time: 10
•1 package oreos (14.3 oz)
•1 8oz package of cream cheese at room
•1/2 tsp mint extract (but you can add more to
•8 oz semi-sweet chocolate

semi-sweet chocolate in a small microwave safe bowl and microwave for one

of mint extract to the chocolate and stir to combine.
coat the Oreo balls in the melted chocolate and place back on the lined cookie
