Cake Mix Cinnamon Coffee Cake

January 02, 2014
Happy 2014! It's my first official recipe of the new year!  Of's a dessert! How was every one's New Years Eve? Did you stay in? Go out? Make it until midnight?  We stayed in, had a quiet night with the kids and dined on pizza and s'mores.  Nope..did not make it until midnight.  I crashed early, as did the kids.  They give it their best effort and are getting closer each year, but, they still miss it.  Just barely.  Next year, will be their year :)  They still have a great time though.

I have a wonderful coffee cake for you to kick off the new year.  A moist, soft, buttery, coffee cake that starts off with a good ole' cake mix.   My favorite way to bake a cake!  It's topped off with cinnamon and some crunchy walnuts.

A great little cake for breakfast, brunch or dessert.
