OK guys, just a short little post today....


Homemade Breakfast Sausage.  It's totally amazing.  
Don't buy the store bought stuff.  This is soooo much better.

Homemade Breakfast Sausage

Cook Time: 00:10
Ingredients (12-18 patties)
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 TBSP minced onion
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1/4 tsp ground sage
  • 1/4 tsp ground thyme
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp dried basil
  • 2 TBSP maple syrup, bottled or homemade
  • red pepper flakes, to taste preference
  • salt/pepper, to taste preference
Instructions
Mix all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add in meat.
Combine thoroughly with your hands.
Shape into patties.
If you using right away, cook on a skillet or griddle over medium heat until no longer pink- approx 2-4 minutes on each side, depending on how thick you make the patties.
You can also freeze patties in that are wrapped in plastic wrap and store in a freezer safe container or freezer bag.
