Gingerbread Bark

So, we are keeping with our never ending dessert themed posts today.  You guys aren't sick of the desserts, are you?  I hope not.  There is more coming :)
This one is another easy dessert that involved very few ingredients and will work great for any type of holiday party you are going to.



This bark is just 4 ingredients and the grand total time you will have to invest in this is maybe an hour. Maybe.   That includes the time it's sitting in the fridge and setting. That is time you are really doing absolutely nothing but waiting fort it to set.  Yeah, easy stuff.  Oh, this also freezes great.  So, make it and toss in your freezer until you need it!

Gingerbread Bark
Adapted From Nestle
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Fridge Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp canola oil
  • 1/4-1/2 cup gingersnap cookies, crushed- homemade or store bought
Directions:
  1. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Over low heat, melt chocolate chips until smooth.  Spread chocolate evenly onto parchment paper.
  3. Melt white chocolate chips with oil over low heat until smooth.  Drizzle over chocolate on parchment paper.
  4. Sprinkle crushed cookies on top.  Do this quickly! You want the chocolate to still be warm.
  5. Place baking sheet and fridge and let the chocolate get firm.  (30 minute to 1 hour)
  6. Remove from fridge and break into desired size pieces.
  7. Keep leftovers in cover container in refrigerator.
