Out of the Kitchen Friday: Homemade Play Dough

January 16, 2015

Welcome to the first installment of "Out of the Kitchen Friday" here at Table for Seven! Each Friday, I will be sharing something a little different than the norm.  It may be a craft (not planning on many of these, I'm not too crafty), maybe some behind the scenes stuff, cute pictures of my kids,  homeschooling stuff or well, just about anything that's not, a recipe.   I hope you enjoy :)

This week was all about getting back into our daily schedule.  Mr Plain was off almost the entire week from work due to the weather (he's a teacher..school was closed).   When my husband is home, my brain immediately switches to "weekend mode" and so do the kids.  We don't get nearly as much done. We do spend time together as a family, but, blogging, homeschooling, most household chores are put on the back burner.  So, between his regular winter break, my camera lens incident and the weather last week, whew..I was seriously behind.  Luckily, the weekend proved to be very productive and new recipes were tried and photos were taken! Yay!

We did have some fun making Homemade Play Dough. A little rough around the edges ( remember: not crafty), but, the kids had a blast and it was really easy to make.

I've decided to share some of the crafty stuff/projects directions on a separate blog.
So, click right here to find out more about our homemade play dough :)

Some delicious stuff I pinned this week...
Enjoy and have a great weekend!!!
