Three Ingredient Butterfinger Bars

My last post only needed four ingredients total.  Today, we are doing even better.  We only need three.  Just 3! I'm so loving these kind of recipes lately.  Toss together a couple items and boom. Dessert.
Simplicity at its finest.


These bars are not only quick and easy, they taste just like Butterfinger candy bars! Just like them.  Identical. OK, they are a little bit chewier.  Just a bit.  Otherwise, they on spot on.  Yum.

Also, no oven required. Which is awesome, because, we are going to hit nearly 100 this weekend. Ugh.
Treats like these come in handy in times like these, am I right?  However, keeping any leftovers (if you have any) in the fridge is probably a good idea.  With the warm weather, nobody needs a melty mess to go with it.

Make a batch of these quickly.  They will disappear in no time.

Three Ingredient Butterfinger Bars

Ingredients

  • 3 cups candy corn
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Line a 8 in baking dish with foil. Let some extra hang over the edge. Grease foil.
  2. In a microwave safe dish, melt candy corn. This should only take 30 seconds-1 minute.
  3. Quickly stir in peanut butter. It will harden up fast. If it does, toss back into microwave for a few seconds to soften it up again. Stir mixture until smooth.
  4. Spread mixture into prepared pan. Put in fridge while you melt chocolate chips.
  5. Melt chocolate chips until smooth in a microwave safe bowl or in a saucepan over medium heat. Spread chocolate evenly over peanut butter mixture.
  6. Return pan to refrigerator for at least an hour to set before serving. If you need it quickly, toss in freezer for 15-20 minutes instead.

Yield: Serves: 6

Total time: 10 mins.
