Salted Caramel Iron Skillet Brownies

September 03, 2015

I'm kinda in love with these brownies.

They are just the simple boxed variety. But, when topped with some homemade caramel sauce and salt? Oh, good grief.  It's magic. It's love. It's just plain ole' good stuff.

You certainly don't have to use a boxed version with this, pick you favorite basic-homemade brownie recipe (that would fit a 9 x 13 pan) and go to town. I suppose you don't even have to use homemade caramel sauce either, just get a jar from the grocery store. Whatever works best for you.

These are just perfect for the long weekend ahead.  Make a batch, but, be prepare to share! They will go fast.
