We are going back into our archives a bit today.  

Not too far back. Oh, about 2 years. That's too far, is it? I don't think so either. 

This cake is a family favorite of ours and is also crazy delicious, so, it needs to be shared again.

When I first shared this back in 2015, it was originally a post that was posted in full on my Community Table page and if you missed it, you are in luck today!

Cause, this cake is just so good, guys.

So good.

It's a chocolate-lovers ultimate dream and the whole recipe total need 8 ingredients. That's it. I'm going to guess that most of those 8 simple ingredients, you have in your kitchen as you read this, too. Possibly, even all of them.

Therefore, you have to make this cake.  It's kinda required now. 😉

As the title says, you do not need flour for this cake. Which gives it a super fudgy taste and texture.  So very fudgy.  Like, grab a cold glass of milk when you cut yourself a slice, kinda fudgy.

You need to give this one a try..it will definitely be the perfect way to start your week.

Flourless Chocolate Cake
Dive into this incredibly fudgy chocolate cake..it's just a few simply ingredient and no flour needed! From Table for Seven

Ingredients (Serves: 6)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
FOR FROSTING
  • ½ cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
FOR CAKE
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9 inch round cake pan.
Over medium heat, melt chocolate chips and butter until smooth. Add into a separate mixing bowl.
Add sugar, salt, and vanilla into chocolate mixture. Mix well.
Add in eggs, 1 at a time. Mix until smooth.
Stir in cocoa powder and mix until combined.
Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 25 minutes.
FOR FROSTING
Over medium heat, melt chocolate chips and whipping cream until smooth. Spread over cooled cake.
Let frosted cake set for 10-15 minutes before serving.
