I was looking for a way to use up some chicken breasts from another recipe and came across this recipe. I had all the ingredients so I made it. It was fabulous. So easy and so good. The sauce was wonderful. I used it on potatoes but I think noodles or rice would be just as good. Next time I think I would use two boxes of stuffing as we like a lot of stuffing. Thanks so much for this. BTW I only had a little sour cream left so mixed it with yogurt.

Thanks for catching that Amanda! It's 1/2 cup. You can use sour cream or plain Greek yogurt. Cook on low for 4 hours. Enjoy!

I've made this recipe before but used jarred gravy instead of soup/sour cream. I understand the soup but what does the sour cream do to it? My husband has an aversion to things that are too creamy so just wondering! :-)

The sour cream helps keep the stuffing moist. Give Recipe #3 a try with the chicken broth instead. The broth still keeps it moist, but, a little less creamy-texture for your husband.

Hey! Saw this on pintrest. Is the chicken breast cooked, raw, or frozen? Thanks!

Hi Kim..the chicken is raw when you put it in the crock pot. If it is a bit frozen too, that should be fine..you may need to cook a little bit longer, but, keep an eye on it.Thanks for visiting!
