Whole Wheat Brownies

April 19, 2013

Ah..the weather around our area. Has the weather been lousy near you too?  We have been hit with about 6000 tons of rain in the last week. 6000. It's really nuts. I had to wear rain boots in my basement to do laundry. Not that there was a huge amount of water or anything (some people had and flooded..awful), but, our basement is an ugly mess of concrete that gets very wet when it rains.  Yuck. If my sons weren't completely out of socks and pants, it would of been avoided. Next time this happens, they shall learn to dig in their hamper.

With us being shut in due to weather..I was able to make these brownies. They are whole wheat! Does that mean they are healthy?  I'm going to say no.

However, there is no oil.  No white sugar. And some whole wheat flour combined with regular.  Ooh..and less than a stick of butter.  Not too shabby.

They are a thick,chocolaty, fudgy,delight!
