Crock Pot Pepperoni and Cheese Dip

January 03, 2014

Let's talk honest here.  Does this look appetizing?  It's not exactly a pretty dip, is it?

Also, why I am always behind in my foods-matching-seasons thingy?  Pumpkin in December. Tacos after Cinco De MayoCorn casserole after Thanksgiving.  I can not get it together guys.

This dip should of been posted before New Year's Eve. *sigh*  Please forgive me.  Also, forgive me for just one picture of this dip.  The temperature in my normal picture taking area (my three season porch) is way past zero degrees the last few days.  Making it tough to take photos.  So, I've been taking some photos in my kitchen.  Much different lighting, set-up, a million people always in there, etc.  You get the idea :)

Back to dip.  As I said, not very pretty.  But, delicious.  Delicious! We actually did have this on New Year's Eve.  It's packed with pizza sauce, pepperoni, two different cheeses and red peppers.

We served ours with cauliflowers, some more peppers and the some crunchy bread sticks ( which, ahem..were all eaten by the time this was snapped).

It is a great appetizer, but, it can also be a fun, dinner too!
